Really pretty and unusual opal set ring made c1900 to 1910, in the Edwardian period.
It set in a fine eighteen-carat slightly rose-coloured gold setting and set all along the centre with four cushion-cut fire opals in a very fine rub-over setting. The setting itself is decorated in what is known as a split shank design.
