Superb original antique brooch made in England c1860. It is set in a fine eighteen-carat yellow gold and silver fronted setting. It is set in the centre with a beautiful emerald-cut Colombian emerald set within ten claws, surrounded by a single row of old European-cut diamonds.
A pair of pear-shaped diamonds goes towards the sides of the brooch, and at the very ends is a smaller pair of Colombian emeralds.
