Superb single-stone diamond set solitaire ring made in England c1910 to 1915, so from the Edwardian period.
It is set in a fine eighteen-carat yellow gold and platinum setting, with a single transitional cut diamond as a centrepiece set within six claws.

The diamond weight here is two carats and sixteen points, it is a colour G to H, and a clarity VS2.
It is simply set on each shoulder with smaller old brilliant-cut diamonds.
