Stunning late Victorian period diamond and sapphire set ring made in England c1890-1900. It is set in a beautiful eighteen-carat yellow gold carved setting and set in the centre with an old round-cut diamond set in four claws.
Unusually it is set on each side with a single oval-shaped sapphire stone of the most beautiful rich blue colouring and this combination of the diamond in the middle with the sapphires on the sides is quite unusual.
