Really unusual vintage emerald and diamond set ring made c1950 to 1960. It is set in a fine handmade platinum setting with an incredible emerald-cut Colombian emerald in the centre, set within four claws.
The emerald weight here in the centre is four carats and twenty-two points. The shoulders are really unusual because they are set with emerald-cut diamonds in a twin shank design, and the basket of the ring itself is set with àn emerald-cut diamond and a very small old round-cut diamond.
