Made in France c1915, it is set in an eighteen-carat yellow gold and platinum setting, with a single emerald-cut rich-blue Burma sapphire at the centrepiece, set within four claws.
It is set on each side with a simple old transitional-cut diamond.
Unusually, the sapphire basket and claws are made of gold, while the diamonds are set in platinum.
