Beautiful Edwardian solitaire diamond ring, made in England c1915, made in fine eighteen-carat yellow-gold with a single transitional-cut diamond in the centre of eight claws.
It is highly unusual for this period that the ring is entirely made of eighteen-carat yellow gold: it is more than likely a made-to-order custom piece.

Diamond: 1.12 carats, G colour, VS2 clarity
