Highly unusual and rare diamond set ring made in Ireland c1880 to 1900.
It is set in a fine eighteen-carat yellow gold and platinum setting and depicts an Irish shamrock.
It is set with three transitional-cut diamonds in the shamrock, set in a very fine clawed setting with small old round-cuts being set in the tail of the Shamrock and in the band of the ring.

The diamond weighs is one carat and twenty points.
