Beautiful late Victorian period opal and diamond set ring made in England c1880 to 1900 and it set in a fine eighteen-carat yellow gold and platinum setting.
It is set in the centre with a wonderful cabochon-cut rich fire opal set in a clawed setting, surrounded by twelve old European-cut diamonds, all in a beautiful cluster style, with slightly smaller diamonds set on each shoulder.
