Superb piece of original Victorian jewellery made in England c1850 to 1860.
It is set in a fine fifteen-carat and twenty-carat yellow gold setting, which is very unusual.
It can be worn as a pendant but also the pin at the back of the piece makes it into a brooch.
It is set in the centre with this beautiful old European-cut diamond, set in a star shape and surrounded by a single row of slightly smaller old European-cut diamonds.
The diamond weighs in this wonderful piece is three and a half carat.
