Pair of late Victorian period sapphire and diamond set earrings.
Made in England c1880 they are set in fine eighteen-carat yellow gold settings with a rich blue oval shape Burma sapphire in the centre set in a fine clawed setting.
This is surrounded by eight old European cut diamonds in a similar clawed setting all in an oval shaped setting.
