Beautiful original mid Victorian ring made in England c1850 to 1860. Unusually it is set in fifteen-carat beautiful yellow gold. It is set with five Almandine garnets, emerald-cut in shape, graduated in size.
Almandine garnets are really beautiful because they have more of a purply to red hue rather than a more modern garnet which is more blood red and sometimes nearly too dark.
