Really unusual pair of earrings made c1940 in France.
They are set in eighteen-carat yellow gold settings and each earring is set in the centre with a brilliant-cut diamond set within four claws.
This is surrounded by a single row of ruby stones, two rows of brilliant cut diamonds, and an outer row of emeralds, all in a beautiful circular cluster style setting.
To get emeralds, diamonds, and rubies mixed within the single pair of earrings is really unusual.
