Beautiful original vintage ruby and diamond set ring made c1950, very much in the Art Deco flavour. It is set in a fine eighteen-carat yellow gold and platinum setting with a rich red ruby stone of oval shape in the centre set within four claws.
The ruby weight is approximately two carats. It is decorated on each shoulder with three graduated emerald-cut diamonds in the Art Deco manner.
