Exceptional original vintage pendant made in America c1990 innthe workshop of Andreas Von Zadora-Gerlof. It is set in a fine eighteen-carat white gold and comes with its original heavy eighteen-carat gold chain. The pendant itself is known as a kaleidoscope because it allows you to “look at beautiful forms”. Inside it there are many gem stones which are all loose inside and reflecting ever changing shapes in mirrors as the pendant is moved: emerald, peridot, citrine, diamond, aquamarine, etc. When you look through the peep-hole, and turn it, you see all the stones moving inside the barrel in ever-changing arrangements of shapes and colours.
The piece itself is decorated with a cabochon-cut crystal that takes the light in. It is mounted in eighteen-carat gold with brilliant-cut diamonds and the barrel of the piece is decorated with a wonderful white guilloche enamel.
