Beautiful original antique locket made in England c1850 to 1860.
It set in a fine eighteen-carat gold and it is engraved on the front with “with skill and courage” as a latin motto (arte et animo).
It has got an engraved pattern in the centre with a buckle on the outside.
It is a beautiful piece.
On the reverse of it, it has a beautifully engraved set of initials of the original owner.
Really suitable for a muff chain or an Albert chain.
