It is set in a fine platinum setting with a wonderful rich green emerald-cut Colombian emerald in the centre, set within four claws. It is set on each side with a large old brilliant cut diamond in a similar clawed setting, and then on top and bottom there is a series of seven smaller brilliant-cut diamonds graduated in size.
The central emerald is approximately one carat and seventy-five points.
