Beautiful Original Art Deco period yellow sapphire and diamond set ring. Made in England c1920. It is set in a fine platinum setting with a single round cut yellow Sapphire in the centre set in a clawed setting. This is surrounded by 2 rows of Marquise cut diamonds 51 in total ina similar clawed setting. Sapphire weight – 9.68CT Diamond weight= 5.5CT, the centre of this ring can be removed from the shank and worn as a pendant which is really unusual.
