WM095

Really special piece of antique jewellery made in France c1940: it is a retro piece.
It is set in eighteen-carat yellow gold and of course it is made from rose quartz.
Rose quartz is absolutely superb and a beautiful shade of pale pink. It is a brooch and at the end of the brooch it is fitted with a watch. It is so cleverly made that when the brooch is worn and hanging, you can turn the watch up the correct way and read the time.

Rose quartz is sometimes linked to healing, which is in tune with the design of the fob watch, suitable for a nurse for instance to check the time by just looking down.
