Superb original late 19th century pin that will appeal to anyone with equestrian interests. It was made in France c1880 to 1900 and is set in a fine eighteen-carat yellow gold setting.
The centrepiece is a beautiful rock crystal piece, cabochon-cut and hand-carved at the back and hand-painted.
It depicts a jockey on a horse jumping over a fence. It is known as a rock crystal pin.
