This is known in England as a two-stone diamond twist ring and in France as a toi-et-moi ring.
The diamonds in the ring are exactly the same size. They are both one carat and thirty-two points, a colour G to H, and a clarity Si2.
Original Georgian brooch made c1760 to 1780 and very unusually set in a very fine twenty-two-carat yellow gold.
