Magnificent emerald ring of the finest and highest quality. It was made c1940, in the late Art Deco period. It is set in a fine handmade platinum setting and it is simply set with an Asscher-cut Colombian emerald set within four claws.
The emerald weight is seven carats and twenty-nine points.
The colour of the emerald is absolutely exquisite, and the simplicity of its design means that it is as modern today as it was when it was made in the 1940s.

It's set in a fine eighteen-carat yellow gold and platinum setting and it is set in the centre with a transitional-cut diamond set in a middle grain setting.

This is surrounded by four rubies and then between those are smaller transitional cut diamonds.
Even the shoulders of the ring are beautifully decorated in the Art Deco manner.
