Wonderful original Georgian period diamond and ruby set cluster ring made c1780 to 1800. It is set in a fine nine-carat slightly rose-coloured gold setting with the central rose-cut diamond in the middle set within a clawed setting.
This is surrounded by a single row of four rubies and an outer row of rose cut diamonds, all in an oval cluster style.

The shoulders of the ring are beautifully set with a single emerald cut diamond and five old brilliant cut diamonds on each shoulder.
