Unique and rare brooch made in France c1900 and made in an Egyptian Revival pattern. It is decorated wonderfully with the most incredible red, green, and white enamel detailing.
It is beautifully executed and set in eighteen-carat yellow gold.
It depicts powerfully sprung wings, and two pairs of pharaonic protective symbols: Nekhbet (the Vulture) and Uraeus (the Royal Cobra), often described as “cranes”.
