Unusual and rare piece of jewellery and of space exploration history. It depicts a Sputnik-inspired stylised cat on its original chain set in nine-carat yellow gold. The cat itself is set with cabochon-cut turquoise stones in the eyes and on the four feet. It was made in the 50s as an ode to the launch of the ground-breaking Sputnik probe in space.
