Original Georgian locket, probably originally part of a bracelet, which could be worn as a pendant.
It was made in England c1830, in the late Georgian period, and is set in a very fine two-toned eighteen-carat yellow gold setting.
It is set with four cabochon-cut turquoise stones, with and oval one in the centre.
The locket itself is decorated in what is known as a Rococo design.
On the reverse of the locket it has a little section where you can insert a photo or hair.
