Really pretty original late Victorian single-stone diamond set ring set in the most beautiful handmade antique eighteen-carat yellow gold setting with an old European-cut diamond in the centre set within eight claws.
The diamond weight is fifty-one points. It is dated on the shank for 1898 and the shoulders of the ring are of particular interest: they are beautifully engraved in a split shine design.
