Really unusual pendant and chain from made in England c1890 to 1900 The pendant and chain are made in nine-carat rose gold. The pendant itself has a beautiful portrait hand enamelled in the centre with a compartment at the back that can hold a picture or hair or ashes, so it may have been a mourning piece. The locket part is accessed by unscrewing the top of the pendant. The chain, which is original to the piece, comes with a beautiful barrel clasp at the back.
