Really unusual late 19th century brooch made c1900 and unusually it is made in fifteen-carat yellow gold, which made only a standard for a few years until approximately 1926. This would make a perfect lucky Christmas brooch as it depicts a horseshoe in the centre for luck and two springs of mistletoe highlighted with pearls.
