Superb original antique ring made in France c1890 to 1900 and set in a fine eighteen-carat yellow gold setting. It is set in the centre with a beautiful natural cushion-cut sapphire, untreated and unheated, set in a very fine-clawed setting.
The sapphire weight is two carats and eighty points. The shoulders are beautifully decorated: pierced and engraved with a floral design.
