Exceptionally pretty original Edwardian period sapphire and diamond set ring made in England c1919-1920, set in a fine eighteen-carat carved yellow gold setting. It is set in the centre with a rich blue oval-shaped sapphire stone surrounded by a single row of old round-cut diamonds, all in a beautiful cluster style setting. And the highlight is the wonderful embossed work on the top of the shank of the ring itself.
