Really unusual late Georgian emerald and diamond set ring made in England c1780 to 1800 and set in a fine really rich eighteen-carat yellow gold setting. It is set in the centre with an oval-shaped Colombian emerald in a rub-over setting and is surrounded by four smaller emeralds and four small rose-cut diamonds. The shoulders of the ring are set with small emeralds and are embossed in the Rococo style.
