Really unusual vintage single-stone diamond set solitaire pendant necklace made c1950 to 1960. It is set in a fine eighteen-carat white gold setting and set at the base of the pendant with a transitional-cut diamond set within eight clause.
The diamond weight is two carats and eighty-five points. Above it there is a very long tapered baguette cut diamond, and at the very top a single old brilliant-cut diamond set in a four-claw setting. The chain itself is also particularly nice, in a beautifully woven pattern.
