Really unusual original vintage opal and diamond set ring made in France c1960 and set in a fine eighteen-carat yellow gold setting. It is set in the centre with this wonderful pear-shaped black opal stone set in five claws. The colouring on the black opal is really beautiful. It is really deep blue and there’s greens in it also. Each side of the ring is set with a single marquise-cut diamond. It is a French ring so It is hallmarked on the outside of the shank.
