RR017

This unusual and rare original antique diamond and ruby set ring is from Delphi Antiques in Dublin.
It was made in England C1850 and is from the mid Victorian period.
It is set in a fine eighteen carats rose gold setting which is of a beautiful colour and set with old rose cut Victorian diamonds in a marquise shaped setting
On each shoulder of the ring is set a single rich red ruby stone which is a nice high light to the ring.
Victorian rose cut diamonds can sometimes be a little dull in appearance because of the way they are cut but these stones are really bright and are full of light.
