This is a really unusual piece of antique jewellery.
It is an original late victorian period match box or what was known at the time as a vesta case.
It was made in England C1895 and is nine carats rose gold.
It was proberly worn originally on a victorian muff chain or a double albert chain.
It is beautifully hand engraved with a floral pattern through out.
It is inscribed on the front.
