The style of this ring is known as a target ring because of its shape. It was made in France c1910 to 1920 and is set in a fine eighteen-carat yellow gold and platinum setting.
It is set in the centre with a series of old round-cut diamonds, the outer ones set in a rub-over setting and this is surrounded by a single row of square French-cut sapphires, all in a beautiful circular target shape setting.

Beautiful original Edwardian period diamond set ring made in England c1905 to 1910, in the Edwardian period.
It is set in a fine eighteen-carat yellow gold setting and it is known as a gypsy-style diamond set ring.
It is very rounded in shape and looks a bit like a wedding band, but it has a diamond inset into the centre of the ring in a very, very fine rub-over setting.

The diamond weight is approximately twenty points.

It is set in the centre with an old brilliant-cut diamond set within six claws and is surrounded by a single row of slightly smaller old round-cut diamonds, all in a beautiful cluster style setting.
The band is beautifully made, and very fine, as you would expect from an Edwardian period ring.
