Wonderful original antique brooch set in a fine eighteen-carat yellow gold setting with an Essex crystal in the centre.
The Essex crystal is of a cabochon cut on the front, it is hand-cut at the back and hand painted with the image of a pheasant in the centre.
It is backed with mother of pearl and it is a beautiful simple brooch.
