Really unusual and unique late 19th century choker necklace made in England c1880 to 1900. It has an obvious Egyptian theme to it.
The centrepiece of the choker is decorated with hand enamelling and depicts an Egyptian pharaoh, possibly Nefertiti or Cleopatra.
It is hand-enamelled with beautiful enamelling in blue, pink, and slight shades of green.
She is wearing diamond set earrings and her collar is encrusted with old round-cut diamonds as well. The centre panel is surrounded by ten natural pearls with very small diamonds set in the frame between the pearls.
