It is set in a fine eighteen-carat yellow gold and silver fronted setting and set in the centre with a large cushion-cut garnet stone.
It is surrounded by a single row of rose-cut diamonds in a beautiful cluster style setting. The detail to the shoulders of the ring and the gold is particularly nice.

This beautiful brooch is from. Delphi Antiques in Dublin.
It was made in France C1880 and is set in a fine eighteen carats gold and silver setting.
The stones in the brooch which are all original to it, are not real sapphires and diamonds: it may have been the final piece of a very skilled apprentice.
I normally only purchase items with real gem stones in them but I loved this piece so much and the quality of craftmanship in its making that I just had to have it.
