It was made in England C1900 and is from the Edwardian period.
It is set in a fine eighteen carats yellow gold setting with a single ruby in the centre set in a fine clawed setting.
This is surrounded by eight old round cut diamonds and rubies all in a cluster style setting.

Really special piece: a beautiful original Art Nouveau period pendant necklace designed by Archibald Knox for Liberty and company and this pendant is contained in its original Liberty and company box designs.
Archibald's style bridged the Art Nouveau period, and Arts and Crafts movement with a lot of his inspiration from the Celtic Revival movement.
This piece was made c1905 to 1910 and is set in eighteen-carat yellow gold and platinum, set in the centre with an incredible oval-shaped moonstone set in a rub-over setting. It is decorated with old round-cut diamonds in this beautiful artful and leaf design, incredibly contained in its original box over 100 years after it was made.

Spectacular sapphire and diamond set ring made in France c1940 to 1950. It set in a fine platinum setting with a wonderful Ceylon sapphire. It is a cushion cut in the centre set within a fine clawed setting.
This is surrounded by a single row of brilliant-cut diamonds and, very unusually, an outer row of emerald cut diamonds in a style sometimes referred to as ballerina due to the resemblance with a tutu.

The sapphire weight in the centre is approximately three carats.
