Highly unusual original classic sapphire and diamond set ring made c1970-1980 and I set in a fine eighteen-carat white gold setting. It is set in the centre with a rich blue oval-shaped sapphire stone set within four claws. The colour of the sapphire is absolutely spectacular. It is unusually set with a mixture of brilliant-cut diamonds set in a trifold pattern, with three emerald-cut diamonds next, and then going back to the brilliant-cut diamond. All set in a gorgeous oval shape setting.
